ALLU Windrow Turner is a separate machine for the treatment of different materials, from compost to contaminated soil stabilization and mixing. The efficiency of the ALLU Windrow Turner is based on the patented mixing drum, which will give complete mixing and aeration with minimum power requirements.

High capacity and robust construction of ALLU Windrow Turner makes it technically superior. The turning capacity is up to 6000 m³ (7800 cubic yards) per hour.

ALLU AS 38H Windrow Turner is designed for handling contaminated soils and mass stabilization works. It can be also used for turning and mixing of compost windrows. ALLU AS 38H is a track driven machine powered by diesel engine.

Robust construction
The turner consists of a steel frame onto which the mixing drum is attached. The mixing drum is 6,33 meters (20.8 ft) long and 2,25 meters (7.4 ft) in diameter. Processing of contaminated soils on several locations has proved the effectiveness of the ALLU AS 38H frame and drum structure.

Pleasant and easy to use
The user operates the machine from a fully equipped safety cabin. The cabin is equipped with heat and sound insulation, heater, air conditioner, radio, dust separation filter, adjustable seat, windscreen wiper etc. The cabin can be shifted vertically about 1,7 meters (5.6 ft) in order to ensure a better view to a windrow (up) and to ease up transportation (down).

The driving speed is steplessly controllable with two joysticks fitted inside the cabin. Both tracks can be individually controlled which ensures small turning radius and good controllability.

The turner is delivered with a remote control unit, which ensures easier and safer drive to and from a transportation platform.

Automatic overload protection
If the speed of rotation of the drum decreases under the adjusted limit the driving speed is automatically reduced in order to remove the overload. When the overload is removed the driving speed returns automatically to the original value if the joysticks have not been moved.
